Additional Terms And Conditions For Professional Qualification Bundles

These additional terms and conditions for professional qualification bundles (the "Bundle Terms") apply when you buy a Professional Qualification Bundle from BPP Professional Education Limited ("BPP").

These Bundle Terms supplement BPP's Classroom and Online Course Terms available at https://www.bpp.com/terms-and-conditions/classroom-online-terms (the "Course Terms"). Together, they form your agreement with BPP.  

The Course Terms still apply to each Course in your Bundle and to your studies generally, except where these Bundle Terms say otherwise. In such case, these Bundle Terms will apply.

These Bundle Terms only apply where you buy a Bundle as an individual and pay for it yourself. They do not apply where a third party, including an employer or a Sponsor pays for or is invoiced for the Bundle.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1. Words and expressions defined in the Course Terms have the same meaning in these Bundle Terms unless otherwise defined or the context requires otherwise.

1.2. In these Bundle Terms, the following definitions apply:

“Booking Form” means the form BPP sends to you for you to complete in order to place your order and the Bundle you have selected;

"Bundle" means one or more Professional Qualification Course, together with any Study Materials, which BPP sells as a single product for the Bundle Price and as identified in the Booking Form and Confirmation Email;
“Bundle Price" means the total discounted price you pay for a Bundle, including VAT where applicable, shown to you before you place your order and confirmed to you in your Confirmation Email;
"Confirmation Email" has the meaning given in the Course Terms and, in relation to a Bundle, means the email confirming BPP's acceptance of your order for the Bundle;
"Validity Period" means the period during which you must complete all Courses in your Bundle and as set out further in Clause 6.

1.3. Any clause headings do not affect the interpretation of these Bundle Terms.

2.  BUNDLES

2.1.  The Booking Form will include the Courses applicable to your Bundle. This will also be set out in the Confirmation Email.

2.2.  Before purchase, BPP will confirm in writing to you the Courses included in the Bundle, the relevant Professional Qualification Level and the Bundle Price.

2.3. The discount reflected in the Bundle Price is conditional on your retaining the entire Bundle. You may not cancel or substitute individual Courses to retain the Bundle Price, except as expressly permitted by these Bundle Terms or otherwise communicated by the University to you in writing.

3.  PLACING AN ORDER FOR A BUNDLE

3.1.  You must contact the BPP Customer Service Team by telephone to enquire about a Bundle. Following the call with a BPP Customer Service representative, you will be sent by email a Booking Form and other associated documents which may be relevant to your Bundle order, including a payment plan, if applicable.

3.2. The Booking Form (and all other associated documents, as applicable) must be completed and returned by email to the Customer Service Team before your order can be processed.

3.3. In addition to the Booking Form, you will also need to pay the Bundle Price in full, or pay your first instalment of your payment plan, if applicable, when you place your order.

3.4. You will receive a Confirmation Email once your payment has been received and your order has been processed.

4.  CANCELLATION PERIOD

4.1. The Cancellation Period under Clause 4 of the Course Terms applies to your Bundle as a one product, rather than to each individual Course in your Bundle.

4.2. If you cancel your Bundle validly during the Cancellation Period in accordance with Clause 4 of the Course Terms (in particular Clauses 4.6 and 4.7), BPP will refund all the amount you have paid for the Bundle and cancel unpaid instalments of your payment plan, as applicable.

5. CANCELLATION AFTER THE CANCELLATION PERIOD

5.1. After the Cancellation Period, any request to cancel will apply to the whole Bundle. You cannot cancel individual Courses separately.

5.2. To cancel your Bundle, you must either:

(a) email PQBookings@bpp.com clearly stating that you wish to cancel; or

(b) call the Customer Sales Team on 03300 603306.

5.3. If you cancel after the Cancellation Period, BPP will calculate any refund using the table below. The relevant period is measured from the date of your Confirmation Email.

5.4. The refund table does not apply to AAT Level 2 and AAT Level 3 AAT, CIMA Certificate Level or ACCA Knowledge Level or any other Bundle identified before purchase as having a 6-month payment plan. For those Bundles, BPP will not provide a refund after the Cancellation Period, except where applicable law requires otherwise.  

5.5. The refund percentage is calculated the total Bundle Price. If you have already paid more than the amount BPP is entitled to retain, BPP will refund the difference. If you have paid less than that amount, you must pay the difference to BPP. BPP will cancel any remaining instalments of an applicable payment plan, unless the instalments are needed to pay any difference owed to BPP.

5.6. When you cancel a Bundle, Clause 5.3.4 of the Course Terms also applies. This means that BPP may remove your access to the VLE and Study Materials.

6. DEFERRALS AND VALIDITY PERIOD

6.1. You may defer an individual Course in accordance with Clause 5.1 of the Course Terms. A deferral does not change the Validity Period for your Bundle.  

6.2. You must have completed all Courses within the Bundle during the Validity Period. BPP may remove access to any Course you have not completed by the end of the Validity Period. You will not receive any refund for any unused Course as part of your Bundle, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

6.3. The Validity Period for your Bundle will be stated clearly in your Confirmation Email, in accordance with the following:

(a) where you have a payment plan of 6 months or have paid the Bundle Price in full the Validity Period shall be 12 months from the date of the Confirmation Email; or

(b)  where you have a payment plan of 12 months, the Validity Period shall be 24 months from the date of the Confirmation Email.

6.4. Deferring a Course does not extend the Validity Period, or pause, reduce or otherwise change your payment plan. You must continue to make payments under any payment plan in accordance with its terms.  

7.  COURSE TERMS THAT DO NOT APPLY TO BUNDLES

7.1. The following provisions of the Course Terms do not apply to a Bundle:

(a) Clause 2.6 (where each course in a multi-course order is treated as a separate offer);

(b) Clauses 5.3.1 to 5.3.3 (relating to cancellation refunds and credit notes); and

(c) Clause 5.12 (relating to multiple courses being purchased as a single package). The cancellation provisions in these Bundle Terms apply instead.  

7.2. The BPP Pass Assurance Scheme will apply to each eligible Course within a Bundle in your Bundle, in accordance with the Additional Terms and Conditions for Pass Assurance referred to in the Course Terms.

8. GENERAL

8.1. These Bundle Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for any dispute or claim made arising out of or in connection with these Bundle Terms.
